Originally a pharmacist, my entire career has been dedicated to the business of health. I have been fortunate to explore all branches of Pharmacy, gaining clinical experience in hospitals, retail and pharmaceutical research in the UK and overseas. This led to leadership roles in the private sector and project management in the NHS.
Working with large multi-national corporations, not-for-profit organisations and SME clients to improve the physical and mental health of their employees, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the variety of working environments that people face. I am passionate about health and wellbeing in the workplace and have put my Prince 2 Project management and Change Practitioner qualifications to good use in service transformation projects in the public and private sectors. I was one of the founding members of the Bupa mentoring programme, working with local schools to support bright students from challenging backgrounds and have incorporated coaching to support all the teams I have managed.
One of the greatest joys I have experienced through a variety of leadership positions has been to help individuals fulfil their potential both at work and home and to truly understand their personal worth. My style is pragmatic and compassionate and I am a bit of a cheer leader, building a positive and constructive, trusting coaching environment.
