I have worked for many years in the technology sector, leading teams as a project and people manager. Success for me has always been rooted in using a coaching approach to get the best out of people by encouraging them to play to their strengths and place their focus on what gives them energy.
I have always keenly mentored and encouraged young people from all backgrounds and have been an active advocate for women, who are still underrepresented in tech and engineering. I have run my own ethical craft business. I am proud to nurture my coaching practice which is built on ethics of sustainability and social impact.
My passion for coaching is to enable people to feel truly listened to and understood, and to challenge people’s perceptions of themselves and their abilities. I believe many people do not truly understand how to get what they want out of life, or even what that is. I love getting people to open up about their passions, and how they can feed them. I offer one to one and team coaching sessions in person where appropriate, or over videoconference. I love to coach in outdoor settings, using the beauty of nature as a source of inspiration and energy.
My qualifications and memberships - I am an accredited Member of the Association for Coaching; a Neuro-link Neuro-agility Practitioner; a Your Virtual Mind Trainer Ambassador and a Rewired to Lead Practitioner. I am on the Strategic Advisory group for the Careers and Enterprise Company, and am a Trustee of Dorset Race Equality Council.
