I bring over 30 years of experience across the not-for-profit, corporate, and entrepreneurial sectors to my coaching practice. As the founder and former CEO of Orchid Project, I led a global movement to end female genital cutting, collaborating with governments, grassroots communities, and multilateral organisations. This has shaped my belief in leadership that is both courageous and compassionate—and has taught me the power of influence grounded in purpose.
As a leadership coach, I work with executives, founders, change agents and senior leaders navigating complexity. I support clients to think strategically, lead authentically, and deliver with impact - particularly in fast-changing or high-stakes environments. My coaching style is deeply empathetic and rooted in real-world leadership experience. I bring calm clarity, systemic thinking and space for reflection into my work with clients, enabling them to unlock their own potential and create sustainable change. My coaching is particularly effective when supporting clients to manage high-stakes relationships; build presence and influence at senior levels; navigate organisational transformation; reconnect with their values; and develop resilience amidst pressure. Many of my clients work in mission-driven roles or are motivated by a deep sense of purpose - they are seeking to lead with integrity while making a difference in the world. Throughout my career, I have engaged global stakeholders - from Government Ministers to grassroots leaders, corporate boards to activists. I coach from a place of deep listening, cultural intelligence, and belief in the ripple effect of powerful leadership.
